The medical term “phantom limb” describes the phenomenon that happens when a person has a limb, breast, eye, or tooth removed - people often experience sensations in these body parts that are no longer present.

I created the term “phantom emotions” to describe emotional reactions from childhood that persist and get triggered, causing us a great deal of unnecessary pain-and-suffering. Just as the cells in our brains memorize ghostlike experiences of physical pain, our brain and nervous system can hardwire phantom memories of painful experiences from childhood that are no longer there.

All of our addictions, compulsions, and obsessions are the result of the persistence of these phantom emotions and are attempts to escape or release us from the pain we feel when these patterns are triggered.

For the first time, I will speak about my “phantom emotion” theory in public and reveal new tools for dissolving these ghost-like emotions. I will show attendees how to identify these phantom emotions and how to replace them with feelings that reflect their reality as competent adults through tailor-made visualizations, mantras, and meditations, informed by cutting-edge research. For the past 30 years, I have experienced tremendous joy and gratification as I have been able to provide people with the tools to replace these phantom emotions and become the loving, creative and peaceful beings we deserve to be.

I will be interviewed by Alan Steinfeld, the founder, producer, and host of New Realities for 20 years. In that time he has produced over 2,000 interviews with leading-edge thinkers, scientists, artists, paradigm shifters and religious leaders from around the world. From the obscure to the well known, Alan has traveled the world in pursuit of truth, esoteric knowledge, and ancient wisdom. In addition to New Realities, he is a writer, producer, director, photographer, and acupuncturist, as well as the author of the book Careers in Alternative Medicine.

I will be introduced by Marissa Feinberg, Founder of Triple Bottom Why. Feinberg is a publicist, marketer, and brand builder with a passion for championing new ideas and connecting people. Marissa's "triple bottom why" philosophy brings her client's Why into alignment with their organization and audience. Identifying Why also highlights values, supporting the triple bottom line: people, planet, and profit.

This event will take place at The Assemblage NoMad, 114 East 25th Street, between Park and Lexington Avenues, Sunday, May 20, 4-6 PM.
